Meet Lauren

Seven years ago, I embarked on a transformative plant-based journey that not only significantly improved my physical and mental well-being, but also ignited a deep passion for cooking and creating recipes with plants. As my interest deepened, I wanted to expand my knowledge and I enrolled in plant-based cooking courses at the Food Future Institute and achieved certification as a Nutrition coach through the Functional Nutrition Alliance. While I have had some technical training, most of my culinary experience has been self taught, my kitchen working as my little experimental laboratory! As a creative individual, I discovered that working with plants in the kitchen provided me with another avenue for self-expression and therapeutic release. It helped me to get in touch with my more sensual side, really understanding and appreciating different tastes and textures and the beauty of adding different fresh herbs and flowers to elevate a dish. I began sharing my daily meals and recipes on social media and fell in love with this sense of togetherness and community that is centered around food. By crafting nourishing recipes and preparing visually appealing dishes for my clients, I hope to inspire others to embrace conscious eating, embrace the beauty of what the earth provides for us, and of course, to take pleasure in it!
